Friday Family Skate

Families • Adults • Casual Skaters

Mostly families plus adult and college-age skaters, with great old-school skate jams and a relaxed Friday-night feel.

Saturday Afternoon

Families • Parties • Younger Kids

Our busiest birthday-party session, with lots of ages 5–12 and their families. A great first visit, get-together or family afternoon.

Teens • Friends • High Energy

A favorite for middle schoolers and teens, with a louder high-energy mix including rap. It may not be the best fit for every family with very young children.

Sunday Family Skate

Families • Beginners • Relaxed Skaters

Laid-back, family-friendly music and an easygoing crowd. Military, Police, EMS and Firefighters receive $2 off admission with ID.

School's Out SkatesSelected Mondays & Wednesdays • 12:00–4:00 PM • $6 admission including regular skate rental • Great for families, kids and groups.

Can I bring a birthday cake or cupcakes?
Birthday cake or cupcakes are allowed with scheduled birthday parties only. Otherwise, please do not bring outside food or drinks into Skate Away.
Can I bring outside food or drinks?
No outside food or drinks, please, except birthday cake or cupcakes with a scheduled party.
Can I bring a bag or skate bag inside?
After 5:00 PM, Skate Away follows a clear-bag policy. Regular bags, including skate bags, are not permitted after 5:00 PM; clear bags are welcome.
What if my child has never skated?
That is exactly what our SkateMate® trainers are for. They are $5 and help new skaters build confidence and start enjoying the rink right away.
Can we stay all day on Saturday?
Yes. Pay admission for both Saturday sessions and stay all day. There is a brief changeover from 5:00–5:15 PM before Saturday Night Skate begins.
Is admission cash only?
Yes. Admission is cash only, and there is an ATM on site for your convenience.
When are School's Out Skates?
When listed on this page, School's Out Skates are generally selected Mondays or Wednesdays from 12:00–4:00 PM. Admission is $6 and includes regular skate rental.
Which regular session is best for my family?
Friday and Sunday are great all-around family choices. Saturday Afternoon is especially popular with younger children and birthday parties, while Saturday Night is the highest-energy session and is especially popular with teens.
